Things are heating up in Babcock Ranch, and it’s not just the weather…it’s almost time to fire up those grills and light the fireworks (or laser lights, if you prefer). Here are some ways you can celebrate and wish America a happy birthday on the Ranch this year:
Sat Jul. 1
Star-Spangled Bash (via Babcock Ranch Telegraph)
Celebrate America’s Declaration of Independence from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. July 1 in Founder’s Square with a good old-fashioned outdoor frolic that includes inflatables, yard games, food trucks and DJ music.
Tues Jul. 4
Fourth of July Golf Cart Parade (via Babcock Ranch Telegraph)
Residents are invited to decorate their golf carts in red, white and blue to celebrate the birth of America from 10-11 a.m. July 4 in Founder’s Square. Participation and enjoyment of the parade are free.
Independence Day 5K (via Babcock Ranch Telegraph)
This 7-9 a.m. July Fourth race is a scenic, 3.1- mile course around Babcock Ranch that starts and ends in Founder’s Square. Racers of all ages are invited to vie for awards and bragging rights. Expect food trucks, vendors and a sense of accomplishment at the finish line. Cost and registration information to be announced.
